Trinity's entrepreneurial society (TES) runs an incubator programme that invests in and mentors a select group of student-run startups.
The programme runs for the academic year and kicks off at the beginning of November with applications opening in mid-October. Start-ups must pitch their idea to qualify for the programme, and if successful, they'll be invited to a final pitching competition for one of the coveted positions.
Successful start-ups receive a small equity-free grant from the society and attend workshops throughout the year where they have access to successful entrepreneurs and receive mentorship.
KPIs are set for each start-up at agreed-upon timelines, and additional funding is provided if these KPIs are met.
The programme culminates in a final demo day at the end of the academic year, where students have the opportunity to pitch and win the final big cash prize.
